As a new year draws to a close, we take stock of what 2022 has meant. Our participation in leading trade fairs in the sector, such as Interwoven or Home Textiles Premium, has been a key factor in resuming contact with customers after the pandemic. In addition, they have allowed us to build a global impression of where the next trends are heading and to focus more effectively on what the current market demands, both nationally and internationally, with a view to researching and developing new product lines.
Our Contract+Technic range has been very well received by our customers. The upturn in High Performance products has positioned our high performance fabrics as one of the bestsellers of the year, with Saima standing out as one of the most valued options by our customers thanks to its versatility, suitable for upholstery, curtains and other decorative uses. Derby, on the other hand, stands out for its high resistance to abrasion, reaching 250,000 Martindale cycles. In this range of High Performance fabrics, we offer two specialized lines: Outdoor Indoor, which responds to the demand for fabrics with special features for outdoor use, and Horeca, specially designed for restaurants and hotels.
Outside of Contract+Technic fabrics, the great reception received by the Naturals collection indicates that recycled materials and natural organic fibers continue to be a great bet for a growing market that demands sustainable and environmentally friendly products. Our customized development service, The Deco Foundation, has been another of our clients’ big bets, as has our roll service, Design&Create.
Rioma will continue to invest in R&D&I to offer new and innovative products and finishes that adapt to the demand of a market that, as we have perceived, will opt for the demand of high performance fabrics for use in public spaces.
