At Rioma, we firmly believe that a sustainable future for our communities and the planet depends on the decisions we make today. That is why we are proud to collaborate with the Somos Naturaleza Foundation in the development of the Alzanatura Project, as part of our unwavering commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. This collaboration reinforces our philanthropic vocation, supporting initiatives that protect and promote biodiversity, while fostering an economic model that is more respectful of our natural surroundings.
The Alzanatura Project is an innovative initiative that seeks agricultural land stewardship and the promotion of sustainable practices in the Cordoba countryside. This project integrates the conservation of key species, such as the reddish Alzacola, with sustainable agricultural production, connecting the rich local biodiversity with high quality products, such as the renowned Montilla-Moriles denomination wines, produced in responsibly managed vineyards.
For Rioma, our participation in this project aligns with our Corporate Social Responsibility principles, supporting causes that have a positive impact on the environment and advance the Sustainable Development Goals. We recognize that preserving the environment is critical not only for the well-being of today’s communities, but also to ensure a more balanced and prosperous future for generations to come.
Our collaboration with Alzanatura represents a natural extension of our business practices. At Rioma, we have integrated sustainability into all facets of our production, from eco-design and the selection of environmentally friendly materials to the efficient use of energy resources.
Through our participation in Alzanatura, we seek to promote the protection of local ecosystems, supporting the stewardship of land managed under principles of sustainability. This project reminds us that biodiversity is not only a source of natural beauty, but also an opportunity to innovate and create products that reflect the balance between nature and human beings.
We invite you to learn more about this important initiative at the presentation of the Alzanatura Project next Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 12:45h at the Visitor Reception Center of Cordoba.
